According to information from Christ Church College, Oxford, Thomas West was appointed Vicar of Wickhamford in 1558, by the holder of the advowson, Thomas Field. On a list of Vicars in St James’ Church, Badsey, compiled in the 1980s, Thomas Weston, alias Honeyman, was recorded as Vicar of Badsey from 1559. It is likely that this is the same person.
We know little about Thomas Weston other than that he was an ex-monk of Evesham Abbey and that he was buried at Evesham.
