Worcestershire – St James’ Church, Badsey

Four men from Badsey are buried in the churchyard of St James’ Church, Badsey:  Lance Corporal William Cleveley who died on 31st December 1917, Lance Corporal Cecil Byrd who died on 11th August 1918, Private Harry Sadler died on 17th October 1918 and Private Morris Hall who died on 9th February 1920.  The graves of the first three are in the north-eastern section of the churchyard, whilst that of Private Hall, who died after the war had ended, is in the south-eastern section.

The churchyard contains seven graves maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission:  the above four from the First World War and three from the Second World War.
