ALDINGTON – BAPTIST SUNDAY SCHOOL

SUNDAY SCHOOL OUTING

The scholars of the Baptist Sunday School in this village had an enjoyable outing to Broadway on Monday, August bank Holiday. They left Aldington in the morning by drays kindly lent for the occasion, reaching Broadway at dinner time. As the weather was wet Mr. Knight very thoughtfully put a barn at their disposal, and here games were played during the afternoon. The party returned to Aldington in the evening, having fully appreciated the outing, arranged for them by their Superintendent, Mr. Hartwell.
