ALDINGTON MAN WOUNDED

Mr & Mrs Moore, of Aldington Sidings, near Evesham, who have five sons serving in the forces, on Thursday received official intimation that their fourth son, Corporal E Moore, of the Worcesters, has been wounded by gun shot in the hand and face and is in hospital in Italy. Corporal E Moore joined up in the early days of the war and has seen a lot of heavy fighting. Mr & Mrs Moore’s second son, Sergeant W Moore, who has been awarded the DCM for gallantry, is a prisoner of war in Germany.
