BADSEY- Death of Mr Joseph Knight

We regret to record the death of a respected inhabitant of Badsey in the person of Mr Joseph Knight, which took place on Saturday. Mr Knight was a native of Aldington, but he had lived in Badsey for about twenty-one years. He at one time represented the parish on the District Council, and he was a member of the Old School Board. By occupation he was a market gardener. He had been in failing health for some time, and latterly has lived a very quiet life, but he only took to his bed about a week before he died. Mr Knight, who was 77 years of age, leaves a widow and one son.
