Details of Will

In the name of God Amen I William Forrest of Badsey in the county of Worcester yeom (yeoman) doe make this my last Will and Testament for the settling my worldly estate Imprimis I give and bequeath the Legacies following viz (videlicet) I do my cozen Ann Fort daughter of Margery Fort deceased five pounds To Richard and Ann sonne and daughter of Richard Haines of Charleton and Jane his wife five pounds apiece To William Grace and Hester children of Mr Thomas Saunders of Moore twenty shillings apiece To my sister Alice Boulton five pounds To my Cozen Elizabeth Markland twenty shillings to buy her a ring To my Cozen Alice Bolton daughter of Peter Bolton twenty shillings To the four younger children of my Cozen Alice Bine viz (videlicet) Alice Mary Magnus and Thomas Bine ten pounds  apiece Item all the rest and residue of my goods chattels and personal Estate I give and bequeath unto my said Cozin Alice Bine and to her sonne John Bine both whom I make Executors of this my last Will and Testament And my Will is that the severall Legacies above given shall be paid to such of the Legatees as shall be at age at my decease within twelve Moneths next after my decease and the rest at the full age of the rest of the said Legatees respectively Item I give and bequeath to my said Cozen Alice Bine all my Lands Messuages Tenements and Hereditaments in Badsey and in the parish of Badsey aforesaid for and dureing the terme of her naturall life charged and chargeable with such of the said Legacies as my Chattells and personal Estate will not extend to pay And after the decease of my said Cozen Alice Bine I give and bequeath unto the said John Bine her sonne All and singular my Messuages Lands Tenements and hereditaments To have and to hold to him and his heires to his and their owne use and behoofe for ever charged and lyable nevertheless to the said Legacies above herein bequeathed Item I desire Mr Charles Nixon Clarke Mr Edward Walker to be overseers of this my Will and assistant in their advice to my Executors In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seale this three and twentieth day and June In the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and Ninety and eight William Forrest signed sealed and published by the Testattor in the presence of us who at the said Testator’s  request and in his presence writ our names Edward Walker signed Ann Horton and Richard Horton John Bulleine
