ACCIDENT VICTIMS – Bulletins from Evesham Hospital

Inquiry at Evesham Hospital this morning revealed that Eunice Nora Knight, the 10-year-old daughter of Mr & Mrs I Knight of 5 Synehurst Crescent, Badsey, near Evesham, who, with a friend, was knocked down by a motor-car on Saturday, is making good progress.

The girl and her friend, Nancy Joan Merriman (10), daughter of Mr & Mrs W Merriman of 4 Synehurst Crescent, Badsey, were injured when they were knocked down by a car belonging to Mr F H J Lock of School House, Honeybourne.

Eunice Knight sustained rather severe head injuries, and was unconscious when picked up, and the girl Merriman received cuts to her hands, legs and left foot.

They were conveyed to Evesham Hospital by the borough ambulance and detained.
