Obituary of Frederick Charles Savage of The Singlet, Main Street, Aldington, who died in Ronkswood Hospital, Worcester, aged 72. Only son of the late Mr & Mrs Charles Savage of Brewers Lane, Badsey; after leaving Badsey School was apprenticed with an Evesham builder as a carpenter. Joined his father in the family business of building contractors; served for many years on the committee of Badsey Rangers Football Club. Survived by his wife, two step-sons, three grandchildren and one sister. Funeral at St James Church, Badsey, followed by cremation at Cheltenham.
