The following is a list of Badsey, Aldington and Wickhamford residents who were recipients of the Silver War Badge. There were 29 different ways in which someone could have been discharged under the King’s Regulations. The majority of local men were discharged under regulation (xvi) “no longer physically fit for war service”. One person was discharged under regulation (iii) “not likely to become an efficient soldier”.
