  • James “Teapot” Williams (1875-1952) was an agricultural labourer from Chipping Campden.  Only his nickname was used in the 1940 programme, but he also pages appeared in the 1937 version and his full name was given as James Williams.  He had decided views which he expressed in his distinct dialect.  He was a skilled bird-minder, with a number of techniques that he revealed in the broadcast.  See also pages 18, 19, 20.
