WEDDING

The marriage took place at St James' Church, Badsey, on Saturday, of Miss Janice Allard. younger daughter of Mr & Mrs G Allard, 10 Synehurst, Badsey, and Private Samuel Gresty, RASC, second son of Mr & Mrs S Gresty, Chesileton, Chester. The ceremony was conducted by the Rev P J Wells, Vicar of Bengeworth. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a powder blue two-piece ensemble of crepe marocain with floral hat and veil to tone, and carried a bouquet of Marechal Niel roses and fern. Mr A E Harwood was best man. On leaving the church the bride was presented with two silver horseshoes. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents where the bride will continue to reside for the duration.
