Miss F M Meddings and Mr A E Sears

The wedding took place at Aston Somerville Church, Broadway, on Saturday, of Miss Florence Mary Meddings, youngest daughter of Mr W G Meddings of Aston Somerville, and Mr Albert Edward Sears, youngest son of Mr F Sears of Badsey.

Given away by her father, the bride wore a dress of white taffeta and carried a bouquet of gold-coloured chrysanthemums.

The only bridesmaid was Miss J Sandel, bridegroom’s cousin.

The ceremony was conducted by the Vicar (the Rev A A Cockle).  Miss E Walker was at the organ and Mr W Sears was best man.

A reception was afterwards held at the Village Hall.
