I, Edward Wilson Senior, of Badsey, being through the abundant mercy and goodness of God though weak in body yet of sound and perfect understanding and memory, give:

  • To my grandson, Edward Wilson, all my lands, tenements and hereditaments in the parishes of Badsey, Offenham, Broadway and Bengeworth
  • To my wife the sum of 50 shillings a year to be paid her by my grandson, Edward Wilson, out of the estates aforesaid
  • To my grandson, Edward Cotterill of Broadway, the sum of £50 to be paid by my grandson Edward Wilson within one year after my decease
  • To my granddaughter, Anne, the wife of William Clifton, the sum of £50, to be paid by my grandson Edward Wilson within one year after my decease
  • To my granddaughter, Elizabeth, the wife of William Phillips, the sum of £50, to be paid by my grandson Edward Wilson within one year after my decease
  • To my granddaughter, Sarah the wife of Henry Smith the sum of £50, to be paid by my grandson Edward Wilson within one year after my decease
  • To the poor of the parish of Badsey, one shilling to each family
  • To my grandson, Edward Wilson, all the rest of my goods, money, credits and chattels.
