  • To my beloved wife the sum of £20
  • To my daughter Jane Margaretta Jones the sum of £50
  • To my daughter, Sarah, the wife of Couldridge, the sum of £50, not subject or liable to the debts, engagements, management or control of her present or any future husband
  • To my grandson William North the sum of £15 to be paid to him with the interest on attaining the age of 21 or on the day he shall be out of his apprenticeship whichsoever may first take place.  Should it happen that he die before either of these periods then this legacy shall lapse and be equally divided between my said two daughters, Jane Margaretta and Sarah
  • Also I give and bequeath unto my said wife and my said two daughters all my household goods, chattels, books and furniture to be valued or sold as they may think best and equally divided between them
  • All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate and hereinbefore mentioned, viz all ready money or money owed to me at the time of my decease after paying funeral and testamentary expenses, I give and bequeath unto my said wife and my two said daughters
