A detached house built on the south side of Bretforton Road in the 1950s, formerly known as Shielings, 52 Bretforton Road. The land behind the house was sold by the King family for housing development; this house (which had been the Kings’ family home) was retained and renovated, then renumbered as 4 Kingshurst Gardens.
