Mrs Kate Taylor died in hospital on 11th June, aged 74, after a long illness which had affected the brain. This was sad for all who knew her, yet she was always bright and cheerful with visitors. The funeral was at Cheltenham Crematorium. Mrs Taylor had been very active in the social life of the village, and for many years was secretary and treasurer of the Women’s Institute.
