My Darling Wife,

Just one line before I go to dinner to say I got here quite safely about 1.30.  I hope you will get on all right to-night with baby.  I am feeling in good spirits for our beer is capital and seems to be liked.  With a kiss for baby and love to yourself I am your affect husband
