Arthur Taylor Archive from house clearance

Arthur John Taylor (1892-1962) was a market gardener who volunteered as a Special Constable during the Second World War. His only daughter, Winifred Muriel Lucy Williams (1919-2007), known as Muriel, retained items relating to her father's Special Constable days. On the death of Muriel's widowed husband, Glan Williams in 2010, the house was cleared by a neighbour at Blenheim Cottage, John Mansell, as the couple had no children; he enquired if The Badsey Society was interested in the items.
