Newspaper article about The Badsey Society's latest publication, Aldington and Badsey: Villages in the Vale, A Tapestry of Local History, was launched at Badsey First School. At the end of the evening, Peter Stewart was presented with the Tony Jerram Award; this was an etched glass trophy presented by Barbara Jerram, widow of the late Tony Jerram. Also mentions village blacksmith, David Caswell, who recently celebrated the 100th anniversary of his family's business and who spoke at the event, regaling the audience with his popular "Tales from the forge".
