Newspaper article about four pupils from Blackminster Middle School reading letters written by Badsey schoolchildren in 1933 about everyday life in market gardening families. The letters are included in a film being made by The Badsey Society as part of a community project titled "The Last Market Gardener" funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. Mentions 1933 Headteacher, Frank Amos; Sir John Russell from the Rothamsted Experimental Station in Hertfordshire; the 1933 letter-writers, George Keen, Hilary Crane, James Wheatley, Joyce Franklin; Peter Humphries, headteacher of Blackminster Middle School; Maureen Spinks, Chairman of The Badsey Society.
