Undated letter (but would be in 1975) from John Sharp, Chairman, to all Wickhamford residents concerning the decision at a recent public meeting at Wickhamford Sports Club to provide a play corner for the village. Sub-Committee of the Parish Council appointed; proposed site in the south-east corner of the playing field, adjacent to the Pavilion. Planned fund-raising activities: 1st June 1975, 11 km sponsored walk, names to Mr H Newman, 21 Drysdale Close, or Mrs J Corbett, 34 Sally Close; 12th September 1975, cheese and wine evening.
