Letter to the Reverend W H Price from John Smith & Sons (Frank & John H Smith, Partners), Midland Team Clock Works, Queen Street & Market Place, Derby, Manufacturers by Special Machinery of every description of Clocks, Chimes, Carillons etc for Cathedrals, Churches, Stables, Railway Stations, etc - concerning the proposed new clock:

Dear Sir

We beg to thank your esteemed favour ordering the clock for Badsey Church which shall be placed in hand at once and the work shall be most carefully carried out so as to be a real satisfaction to all concerned.  We expect that it will be fixed in the tower during January next.

Again thanking you and soliciting your further favours
