DVD - Coronation Celebrations in Evesham and Badsey, 1953

Description

Black and white DVD, originally made on 8mm film by members of the Holley family who lived at Synehurst, Badsey, a few houses down from Lloyds Bank. Norman Holley was a part-time projectionist at the Clifton Cinema. Some of the shots were taken at Seward House, High Street, Badsey where Mr Holley Senior worked for Miss Sladden. People in the film are Mr & Mrs Holley outside their Council House and their daughter, Mary; also Lilly, sister of Fred Holley, and her husband Fred. Includes print-outs of two emails sent between Virginia Pawlyn and Don Gardner and a paper giving brief details about the contents (with a photo of Synehurst in 2006 and the caption, "There is a sequence of two people cycling down this part of Badsey - this is the same scene today!").
