Rifleman Francis Henry Blake, who lived in Badsey from around the age of nine, is remembered on the war memorial at New Alresford, where his parents lived.
The memorial is in the churchyard of St John the Baptist. The cross and plinth carry an inscription and names of Alresford men who fell during the First and Second World Wars.
