Lewis Coster Sladden

Lewis Coster Sladden (1867-1939) was the eldest son of Dilnot and Bessie Sladden and the nephew of Julius Sladden.

Lewis Coster Sladden was born in Christchurch, South Island, and sent to England at the age of 15 to finish his education at Dover College.  Whilst there, he lived with his great-uncle and great-aunt, George and Marian Coleman, in Deal.  Lewis returned to New Zealand and became a surveyor.  He died at New Plymouth in 1939.
