1946 Anglo-Dutch Wedding in Wickhamford

On 10th June 1946, Arthur John Webb of 'Whitfurrows', who had been in the Tank Corps and ended the War in Holland, married Gerarda Maria Theresa Janssen Smit (known as 'Sherry'), a typist from The Hague.  She was the daughter of Hendrick Janssen Smit, an engineer.  They went to live in a Second World War glider that had been converted into a bungalow for them, near the Evesham end of Wickhamford Lane.   Thanks are due to Sherry Webb and Mary Dore for the photograph and information.
