NEW FOOTBALL CLUB

Decision At Wickhamford Meeting

At a meeting held at the Sandys Arms, Wickhamford, near Broadway, it was unanimously decided to re-form the football club in the village. The club went out of existence several years ago.

There was a large attendance, and the election of officers resulted as follows:- Chairman, Mr. Sturt; secretary, Mr Frank Styles; treasurer, Mr. Riding, together with a provisional committee with power to add.

The new club has successfully sought election to the Pershore League during the coming season.

Mr. Reg. Mansell, of Broadway, has been asked to serve as president of the club. The officials have obtained the use of a field on the Evesham-road through the generosity of Mr. Oldaker, of Field Farm.

The delegates appointed for the league meetings are Messrs. F. Taylor, sen., and the hon. Secretary.
