OFFICIAL NOTICES TO FARMERS

GERMAN PRISONERS AND LAND WOMEN

  • On farms where German prisoners are billeted, Land Army Women must not be employed.
  • Threshing gangs may be employed on farms where German prisoners are billeted, but prisoners must not assist in the threshing work.
  • On farms where German prisoners come from a camp daily, Land Army Women may be employed, but only on another part of the farm.
  • Women must not drive or escort prisoners between farms and camps.

Any breach of these regulations will be followed by the prompt removal of the women or the prisoners or both.
