BADSEY’S EXAMPLE

The village of Badsey has so far done fairly well. Up to Tuesday night some £1,556 had been invested through the Local War Savings Association, and to that another £310 was added on Thursday. In addition some £4000 from the village has gone through the banks so that a Souvenir Shell is certain to go to Badsey. Mr Sladden is, however, not satisfied and he wants a sufficiently large investment to secure the largest shell. This may come along yet.
