Obituary
Mrs Lilian Mary Hatcher of 12a Green Leys, Badsey, has died in Avonside Hospital, Evesham, aged 77. Born in South Littleton, she was a daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Teheodore Carelss, who lived in Badsey after moving from Littleton. In 1926 she married Mr Alec Hatcher of Badsey and the lived in Badsey all their married life. For many years she assisted her husband on his market garden land. She is survived by her husband and one son, Mr Maurice Hatcher of Evesham.
The funeral took place at Badsey. The family mourners were Mr B A Hatcher (widower), Mr & Mrs Maurice Hatcher (son and daughter-in-law), Mr Paul Hatcher (grandson), Mr & Mrs T Richmond, Mrs Wendy Jewson (Oxford), Mr & Mrs A Ockwell (nephews and nieces), and Miss Sharon Troughton.
