HOUSEWARMING AT BADSEY

Mr Joseph Knight’s housewarming dinner at the Wheat Sheaf Inn, Badsey, took place on the 13th inst, when upwards of 30 gentlemen sat down to an excellent dinner provided by the worthy host.  The chair was taken by Mr W Parker.  After the cloth was drawn, the usual loyal toasts were given, and the evening, which was spent in a friendly and social manner, was enlivened with some excellent songs, etc.
