OBITUARY – MRS PERKINS, BADSEY 

There was a large attendance at the funeral of Mrs Elsie Dorothy  Perkins of 5 Synehurst, Badsey, who died in Evesham Hospital on Wednesday week after a long illness, aged 46. She was the wife of Mr J Perkins.  

Bearers were Messrs W Yates, Eric Jelfs, Tom Keen, R Rouse, Harry Welch and C Roberts.  

Family mourners were husband and daughter, Mrs W Smith (sister). Messrs Auth, Fred, Bert Heming (brothers), Miss E Perkins, Mrs Groves, Mrs W Knight, Mrs J Perkins (sisters-in-law), Messrs W Harman, W Knight, Jim Perkins, W Smith and C Bennett (brothers-in-law), Mrs Prescotte, Mrs T Perkins (aunt), Mrs Rouse (cousin), Miss Wakefield, Mrs Harris, Mrs W Sparrow, Mrs Taylor (friends). Mrs Perkins' son, who is on active service abroad, was unable to attend. Mrs Bennett (sister) and Mrs Harman (sister-in-law) were absent because of illness.
