SIX ATTENDANTS FOR BRETFORTON BRIDE – Miss A J Cleaver and Mr N C Crane

A popular wedding took place on Saturday at St Leonard's Church, Bretforton, between Miss Audrey Joan Cleaver, elder daughter of Mr & Mrs A H Cleaver of 9 Ivy Lane, Bretforton, and Mr Neville Cecil Crane, youngest son of Mr and Mrs G Crane, of 9 Svnehurst, Badsey. The Rev C M Stickings (Vicar of Bretforton) officiated and Mr A P Kerr presided at the organ. Given away by her father, the bride looked charming in a full length white satin gown, with long flowing veil held in place by a coronet of orange blossom and shoes to tone. She carried a bouquet of red carnations end maidenhair fern. The bride's six attendants were Margaret Cleaver (cousin of the bride), Shirley Cleaver (sister of the bride), Sandra Jobson, Doreen Emms and Jennifer Such (nieces of the bridegroom) and Royston Hitchcox (nephew of the bridegroom). Margaret Cleaver was tastefully attired in a pink-figured silk dress, with shoes to tone and wore a feathered head-dress. Shirley Cleaver looked attractive in a pale blue crepe dress, feathered head-dress and shoes to tone. Both carried bouquets of chrysanthemums and maidenhair fern.
