DISTRICT NEWS, BADSEY WEDDING
The wedding took place at St James’ Parish Church, Badsey, on Saturday last between Miss Jean Mary Smith, daughter of Mr & Mrs Herbert Smith of Hollycroft, Bretforton Road, Badsey, and Mr Peter Turner, son of Mr & Mrs H Turner of Woodside Farm, Ravensfield, Rotherham, Yorkshire. The bride was given away by her father, and the Rev J G Jeffreys, Vicar of Badsey, conducted the service which was choral. Mrs Marshall was at the organ. The reception which was held at The Wheatsheaf Inn, Badsey, was attended by many friends and relatives.
