The bride was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Dorothy Cole (as sister) and Miss Betty Byrd (a friend) and Master Lyden Kent, a nephew of the bride also attended her. The bridesmaids were gaily clad in dresses of fuchsia coloured satin marocain and turquoise blue marocain respectively. The little boy attendant was also clad in a suit of turquoise blue marocain and carried a basket of flowers. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of white chrysanthemums and pink roses, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Proctor Cole, brother of the bride, was best man.
