STEWART-CLEMENTS WEDDING
An interesting wedding, which took place at St Laurence Church on Saturday morning, was that of Miss Edith Pamela Clements, the eldest daughter of Mr & Mrs Alfred Clements of 62 Bewdley Street, and Mr Raymond Frank Stewart, son of the late Mr Frederick Stewart and of Mrs Stewart of Highmead, Badsey. The Rev Philip Cowen (Curate) officiated, and the bride was given away by her father. She wore a very becoming lavender blue costume with a white satin blouse and blue hat, a spray of white carnations being fastened to her coat. Mr Ernest Stewart, a brother of the bridegroom, was best man. After the ceremony, relatives and a few friends were entertained at the home of the bride’s parents. Numerous handsome and useful presents were received by the bride and bridegroom, whose new home is at 22 Littleworth Street.
