BADSEY – THE LATE MRS E A KERR
The funeral took place on Monday of Mrs Edith Alice Kerr of Laburnum Villa, who death occurred on Friday at her home.  Aged 87, Mrs Kerr was the daughter of Mr & Mrs Baylis of Bengeworth, Evesham, and was the wife of the late Mr A Kerr, who died 36 years ago.  She is survived by one son and two sep-sons.  The interment took place at Evesham Cemetery after a service in Bengeworth Church at which the Vicar of Bengeworth, the Rev  F Carr, officiated.  Family mourners were:  Mr A Kerr (son), Mr A J Baylis (nephew), Mr Alf Kerr (step-son).  Among those in church were Miss L Taplin, Mrs W Blake, Mrs D Barren, Mrs A F Morgan, Mr & Mrs R Speed, Mrs E Mustoe, Mr L Mustoe, Mrs C Stewart, Mrs L Langstone, Mr T Wilson, Mr & Mrs G Malins, Mrs A J Baylis, Miss I Beasley, Miss E Eaton, Mrs C Potter, Mrs F Field.  Miss L Gosling, Mrs B Wheatley and Mrs Bearcroft.  Mr J Kerr (step-son) was unable to attend owing to illness. Funeral arrangements were by Mr L Williams, Evesham.
