Newspaper article about the death of Bernard Arthur Hughes aged 86 and funeral at St James Church. Bernard Hughes served in both the Royal Navy and the Merchant Navy before becoming a member of the Bretforton branch of the Royal British Legion. A contingent from the TS Explorer Sea Cadet Corps and a member from the newly established Royal Marine Cadet Corps formed a guard of honour with Legion members; mentions Peter Stewart.
