Includes invitation to all book subscribers and/or members to the launch of the new edition of A Brief History of Badsey and Aldington by Terry Sparrow on 28th September 2002. Also includes requests for photographs for a Jubilee Project (contact Lizzie Noyes); reports on the stands at Badsey First School Summer Fete on 6th July and Badsey Flower Show on 27th July; Badsey website through to the finals of the Worcestershire Community Pride competition. Plus results of logo competition; three winning entries to be used for different purposes: a typographic entry by Will and John Dallimore, a spread hand with a map of Badsey by Fiona Allen (a pupil at Prince Henry’s High School), and a drawing of the Norman arch and a bundle of asparagus by Ian Gibson.
