A - Transcript of the Badsey Churchwardens’ Accounts, 1602-1690, Vol II, made by Rev W H Price

The Reverend William Henry Price became Vicar of Badsey with Aldington in April 1897.  He began transcribing the ancient Churchwardens' Accounts which were in the parish chest.  These were hand written in a hard-back exercise book and amounted to four volumes in total before his untimely death in 1903.  Ten years after his death, this first volume was edited by E A B Barnard and a printed paperback booklet produced.
