A transcription of the register of baptisms for Badsey, 1538-1722, by the Reverend W H Price. In the inside front cover it says:
Parish of Badsey near Evesham, Worcestershire.

On the first page, Reverend Price has written:
NB – The month of September in which this copy was made was remarkable for the excessive heat which prevailed. The glass on some days stood at 92o Fahrenheit in the shade. On some occasions the heat was so intense that it was written under the trees in the Vicarage garden for coolness. W.H.P.
The original register was then kept in the parish chest but, in the latter part of the 20th century, it was sent to the Worcestershire Record Office for safe keeping.
