Burial - Margaret FISHER (17 May 1699)

J P Shawcross, in his book, Bengeworth, published in 1927, wrote about 'a curious fact’.  This was in reference to two burials in 1699 which appeared in the Wickhamford Burial Register for 1699:  "Margaret Ffisher widow buried May 17 at Bengeworth graveyard" and "Anne Ryland buried July 10 in a garden in Bengeworth".  It seems that the funeral services were held at Wickhamford but the bodies were taken to Bengeworth for burial.
