Leslie Field served with the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
He lived at 3 Council Cottages on Pitchers Hill, Wickhamford (now 9 Pitchers Hill).
Leslie joined the Regular Army in 1930 and, as a reservist, was recalled in September 1939. He served most of the War as a Sergeant training recruits at Budbrooke Barracks, Warwickshire. He then saw active service in Italy towards the end of the War.
