Envelope postmarked 11 June 1971 Worcester, sent recorded delivery, addressed to G T Bowler, Esq, c/o Bowler & Martin, Veterinary Surgeons, Merstow Green, containing six enclosures: (1) letter dated 10 June 1971 from W R Scurfield, Clerk of the County Council, to G T Bowler, concerning tree preservation order on a tree in the Manor House garden; (2) Tree Preservation Order, Section 29 of the Town & Country Planning Act 1962; (3) list of all the trees affected in Badsey, 17 individual trees (1 Walnut, 3 Cedar, 1 Thuja, 3 Horse Chestnut, 4 Cypress, 1 Golden Sycamore, 1 Thorn, 1 Holm Oak, 1 Wellingtonia, 1 Scots Pine) along High Street, Old Post Office Lane and Brewers Lane and several trees of different species in the Allsebrook Gardens area); (4) Town and Country Planning Acts 1962-1968, County of Worcester (Badsey), Tree Preservation Order 1971 listing all the trees in the first schedule, signed by J H C Phelips, Deputy Clerk of the County Council, 4th June 1971; (5) Information sheet about the Civic Amenities Act, 1967, in relation to tree preservation orders; (6) Map of Badsey based on OS sheets 0642, 0643, scale 1:2500, showing all the trees, signed by J H C Phelips, Deputy Clerk of the County Council.
