The envelope contains a letter, dated 12th July 1974, from the Solicitors to P J Burton, Architect, concerning the refusal of a planning application by Mr & Mrs Bowler for a building at the rear of the Manor House. Also enclosed: (1) Application for planning permission from Geoffrey Thomas Bowler and Vivienne Mary Bowler of The Manor House, Badsey, for outline planning permission to build either two pairs of semi-detached dwelling-houses or bungalows, two single dwelling-houses or bungalows or one single dwelling-house or bungalow in the paddock, dated 4th October 1973 with a map of Badsey based on OS sheet and plan of Badsey Manor House showing land owned by applicants, stapled to it; (3) Refusal by Evesham Rural District Council to permit development (with an identical map of Badsey stapled to it), dated 3rd December 1973.
