Supporting Information

In 1908 the police house in Badsey was at Belmont Terrace, 33 Willersey Road; then briefly in 1911 at Homeleigh, 5 Willersey Road; then from about 1913 at Hopyard Villas, 16 Bretforton Road, but the house pictured does not appear to be any of these houses. Prior to serving in Badsey, PC Hill was at Elmley Castle, but the house is definitely not there as the former police house is an old cottage, now a Grade II listed building. From the mid 1920s, PC Hill served elsewhere but the family remained in Badsey, so it is possible that this is a picture of the house where he later served.
