Photograph of the party held in the girls' playground at Badsey Council School to celebrate the coronation of King George VI. The garage of the Headmaster, Frank Amos, is at centre back, bike sheds to the right set against the southern boundary of the school. Beyond the boundary is Glebe Farm, demolished in the 1960s. Many of the tables are set out where the present-day Hall is situated.
