George Aldrich of Badsey writes about his father, George Stephen Dickinson, a pharmacist in Evesham, who served in Russia during the war. On returning from the war, he became a leading member of the British Legion and helped to establish the opening of the Badsey British Legion in 1928. He was Mayor of Evesham from 1949-1951.
