Description

Copy of the will of Elizabeth Seward of Bengeworth, widow, giving to her good friends Jacob More of Bengeworth, Nathaniel Overbury, Senior, of Tetbury, John Overbury of Alcester, Warwickshire, Philip Jones of Upton upon Severn, Worcestershire, Benjamin Bedham of Bourton on the Water, Gloucestershire, Dr John Gill of Horsley Down in the Parish of St John, Southwark, Surrey, and to William Anderson of Grafton Street in the parish of St Ann, Westminster, Middlesex, all Ministers and Teachers of a Congregation of Protestant Dissenters of the denomination of Particular Baptists, to be trustees of her will, £2000 capital South Sea stock, £2000 New South Sea annuities, £550 part of her bank stock in the Bank of England. Dated 2nd June 1753, proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury, 6th February 1754.
