Burial - Edwin BALLARD

We record with regret the death of Mr Edwin Ballard, of Aldington, aged 85, for some years one of the managers of Badsey School. The funeral took place at St Peter’s, Bengeworth, where he had been a member of the choir for the last 50 years. He will be greatly missed; the chief quality we shall always associate with him, as the Vicar of Bengeworth said at the funeral, was his gentleness. Warmest sympathy to Mrs Ballard.
